Upon the death, resignation, or removal of the person to be appointed, his Majesty may appoint another.
|
III. And be it enacted, That upon the death, resignation, or removal of the persons so to be appointed, it shall and may be lawful for his Majesty, his heirs and successors, to appoint other person or persons in the place of him or them so dying, resigning, or removed, and that all persons enjoying the said office or offices shall hold such office or offices during their good behaviour respectively.
