Title to lands, &c. not to be drawn into question.

The title to lands, tenements, and hereditaments (except in the cases herein-before mentioned) shall not be drawn into question in any proceeding by civil bill under this Act; and every defendant in every civil bill shall be entitled, on the hearing of such civil bill, to every defence which he may have at law or in equity.
