Power to determine expenses of rural authorities to be special expenses.

49. The Local Government Board may by order on the application of any rural authority declare any expenses incurred by such authority to be special expenses within the meaning of sections two hundred and twenty-nine and two hundred and thirty of the Public Health Act, 1875.
