Provision as to borrowing.

43. [1] —(1) A local authority may borrow for the purpose of raising sums required for purchase money or compensation payable under this part of this Act in like manner and subject to the like conditions, as for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the execution by such authority of the Public Health Acts.

(2) The Public Works Loan Commissioners may, if they think fit, lend to any local authority the sums borrowed in pursuance of this part of this Act.
