Transfer of roads.
|
4. As from the passing of this Act the roads and footways, and portions of roads and footways, described in the First Schedule to this Act with the exception of such parts of these roads and footways as are transferred under this Act to the Railway Company, and all the property, jurisdiction, power, and authority of the Harbour Commissioners therein, shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, be transferred from the Harbour Commissioners to and vested in the Town Commissioners, and subject to the said provisions the Town Commissioners shall have all the powers, rights, privileges, and obligations which are conferred on, or may be exercised or enforced by the Town Commissioners, with respect to the other roads or streets within the township of Kingstown.
