THE Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in them under the joint operation of the Agriculture and Technical Instruction (Ireland) Act, 1899, and of the Diseases of Animals Acts, 1894 to 1914, and of every other power enabling them in this behalf, do, with the concurrence of the Minister for Agriculture of the Irish Free State, hereby order:—

1 Landing of Dogs from Great Britain permitted.
|
1. The Importation of Dogs (Ireland) Order of 1902 Amendment Order of 1918 (No. 2) shall be read and have effect as prohibiting the landing in the Irish Free State of dogs from the Channel Islands only.

2 Landing of Dogs from the Isle of Man permitted.
|
2. Article 1 of the Importation of Dogs (Ireland) Order of 1902 Amendment Order of 1922 is hereby revoked as far as it refers to the landing of Dogs in the Irish Free State.

3 Commencement.
|
3. This Order shall come into operation on the 12th day of February, 1923.
|
|
4 Short Title.
|
4. This Order may be cited as the Importation of Dogs (Irish Free State) Order of 1923.
