Definitions. |
1.—In this Act—: | |
the expression “Principal Act” means the Electoral Act, 1923 (No. 12 of 1923); | ||
the expression “local government elector” means a person entitled to vote at an election of members or a member of the council of a county, county borough, or urban or rural district, a board of poor-law guardians, or the board of commissioners of any town; | ||
all words and expressions in this Act which are also used in the Principal Act shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the same meaning in this Act as in the Principal Act. |
