Definitions. |
1.—In this Act— | |
the expression “the Principal Act” means the Increase of Rent and Mortgage Interest (Restrictions) Act, 1923 (No. 19 of 1923); the expression “the Act of 1920” means the Increase of Rent and Mortgage Interest (Restrictions) Act, 1920; and | ||
the expression “statutory notice” means, as the context may require, either the notice of intention to increase rent mentioned in sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Act of 1920 or the notice increasing rent mentioned in sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Principal Act. |
