APPROVED SOCIETIES AMENDMENT REGULATIONS, 1927. | ||
Regulations made by the Irish Insurance Commissioners with the concurrence of the Minister for Local Government and Public Health under the National Health Insurance Acts, 1911 to 1926. Dated 23rd December, 1927. | ||
The Irish Insurance Commissioners in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the National Health Insurance Acts, 1911 to 1926, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby, with the concurrence of the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, make the following Regulations:— 1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Approved Societies) Amendment Regulations, 1927.* | ||
(2) The Interpretation Act, 1889, as modified and adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 , applies to the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. 2.—(1) Article 9 of the National Health Insurance (Approved Societies) Amendment Regulations, 1925 (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations of 1925"), shall have effect as if the words " or the Army Pensions Act, 1927 " were inserted after the words " Army Pensions Act, 1923 ." | ||
(2) For the purposes of Article 9 of the Regulations of 1925 an increased pension granted, in pursuance of Section 25 of the Army Pensions Act, 1927 , to any person to whom that Section applies while such person is undergoing any medical examination or treatment or surgical operation by direction of the Minister for Defence, shall be treated as if the increased pension were a pension in respect of disablement in the highest degree. 3.—These Regulations shall be deemed to have had effect as from the 30th day of April, 1927. | ||
