DEFENCE FORCES (ESTABLISHMENT OF THE RESERVE) PROCLAMATION, 1927.

WHEREAS it is enacted by the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 (No. 30 of 1923) that it shall be lawful for the Executive Council to raise and maintain a reserve force (in the said Act and in this Proclamation referred to as the Reserve) for Oglaigh na hEireann and that the Reserve shall be established as from a date to be fixed by Proclamation of the Executive Council in the Iris Oifigiúil:

Now, therefore, the Executive Council in exercise of the power conferred on them by the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 (No. 30 of 1923) and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling do by this Proclamation proclaim and order as follows:—

1. This Proclamation may be cited for all purposes as the Defence Forces (Establishment of the Reserve) Proclamation, 1927.

2. The Reserve shall be established as from the 1st day of April, 1927.
