Reservists undergoing training. |
21.—(1) Where a man belonging to the Reserve complies with the following conditions, namely:— | |
(a) is undergoing training under section 220 of the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 (No. 30 of 1923) and is in receipt of pay in respect of such training out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas for defence service, and | ||
(b) is immediately before commencing to undergo such training an insured person, | ||
such man shall for the purposes of the Acts, be deemed while undergoing such training to be employed within the meaning of the said Acts and to be in the sole employment of the Minister for Defence. | ||
(2) This section shall be deemed to have come into operation on and shall be in force and have effect as on and from the 1st day of January, 1929. |
