Grants to the Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust. |
2.—(1) So much of section 1 of the Principal Act as enacts that in that Act the word “person” does not include the Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust is hereby repealed and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that the word “person” in the Principal Act includes the Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust and that, subject to the provisions of the next sub-section of this section, the Principal Act shall be construed and have effect accordingly. | |
(2) No grant shall be made by the Minister under the Principal Act as amended by this Act to the Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust in respect of any house the erection of which was begun before the passing of this Act. |
