THE PORTAL INSPECTION ORDER OF 1931. | ||
ORDER OF THE MINISTER FOR AGRICULTURE. | ||

The Minister for Agriculture, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in him under the Agriculture Act, 1931 , the Diseases of Animals Acts, 1894 to 1914, and of every other power enabling him in this behalf, hereby orders as follows :— | ||
1. From and for a period of 12 calendar months after, the date of this Order, the premises described in the Schedule to this Order shall be deemed to be included in the Places of Inspection at Dublin Port described in the Portal Inspection Order of 1924, and the provisions of that Order shall be read and have effect accordingly. Provided that the use of the premises as a Place of Inspection during the period as aforesaid shall be subject to the following conditions, viz.:— | ||
(1) The premises shall be used as a place of inspection on Thursdays only, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. | ||
(2) The premises shall be used as a place of inspection for bulls, fat cows, and milch cows only, and | ||
(3) The premises shall be cleansed and disinfected in accordance with the requirements of Article 22 of the Transit of Animals Order, 1927, on every Thursday on which they are used, before any animals are placed therein, and again immediately all animals for shipment have been removed therefrom. | ||
2. This order may be cited as " The Portal Inspection Order of 1931." | ||

SCHEDULE. | ||
The covered premises for animals, belonging to the British and Irish Steam Packet Company, Limited, adjoining that Company's pig yard, situated in the City of Dublin, entered from Mayor Street, and having exit to the North Wall Quay. | ||
