Amendment of sections 4 and 5 of the Principal Act. |
2.—(1) Section 4 of the Principal Act is hereby amended by the insertion of the following paragraph at the end of sub-section (1) of the said section, that is to say:— | |
“(e) compulsorily interfere with any lands or premises”, and the said section shall be construed and have effect accordingly. | ||
(2) Section 5 of the Principal Act is hereby amended in the following respects and shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say:— | ||
(a) by the insertion in sub-section (2) of the said section of the words “or the compulsory interference under this Act with any lands or premises” after the words “artificial watercourse”; and | ||
(b) by the insertion in sub-section (4) of the said section of the words “land, premises” before the word “right” where it secondly occurs. | ||
(3) This section shall have and be deemed to have had effect as from the passing of the Principal Act. |
