DAIRY PRODUCE ACT, 1924 (REGULATIONS UNDER PART I) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1933.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 46 of the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (No. 58 of 1924), that the Minister for Agriculture may by Order make regulations in regard to any matter or thing referred to in that Act as prescribed or as being or to be prescribed, but no such regulation shall be made in relation to the assessment or collection of fees without the consent of the Minister for Finance:

AND WHEREAS the Minister for Agriculture in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the said Section 46 made the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (Regulations under Part I) Order, 1925:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SEAMUS RYAN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the said Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (No. 58 of 1924), and of every and any other power me in that behalf enabling do by this Order make the following regulations:—

1. In this Order the expression "the Principal Regulations" means the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (Regulations under Part I) Order, 1925.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The Principal Regulations are hereby amended in the following respects, and shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say:—

(a) By the insertion in sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph 6 of the Principal Regulations after the words "accompanied by" of the words "in case the applicant is in Ireland, an official receivable order receipted by the Bank of Ireland for the appropriate fee as prescribed by this Order or, in case the applicant is outside Ireland, a Post Office Money Order, banker's draft or guaranteed cheque for"; and

(b) by the deletion in paragraph 7 of the Principal Regulations of the word "fee" and the substitution therefor of the words "document specified in sub-paragraph (b) of the immediately preceding paragraph"; and

(c) by the deletion in the Second Schedule to the Principal Regulations of the word "for" (where that word occurs immediately before the letter and signs "(c) £") and the substitution therefor of the words and brackets "as evidence of the payment of (in payment of)"; and

(d) by the deletion of the marginal note (b) in the said Second Schedule and the substitution of the following marginal note, that is to say, "(b) state whether receipted official receivable order, Post Office Money Order, banker's draft or guaranteed cheque."

4.—(1) This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (Regulations under Part I) (Amendment) Order, 1933.

(2) The Principal Regulations and this Order may be cited together as the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (Regulations under Part I) Orders, 1925 to 1933.
