THE ROAD TRANSPORT (VEHICLE PLATE ISSUING STATIONS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1933.

THE ROAD TRANSPORT (VEHICLE PLATE ISSUING STATIONS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1933, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE ON the 30th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1933, PURSUANT TO SECTION 10 of THE ROAD TRANSPORT ACT, 1933 .

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 10 of the Road Transport Act, 1933 , that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may, after consultation with the Commissioner of the Gárda Síochána, from time to time by order appoint such and so many Gárda Síochána stations as he thinks proper to be vehicle plate issuing stations for the purposes of Part II of the said Act;

AND WHEREAS by the Road Transport (Vehicle Plate Issuing Stations) Order, 1933, dated 19th day of October, 1933 (a), the Minister appointed such Gárda Síochána stations as are set out in the said Order, to be vehicle plate issuing stations for the purposes of Part II of the said Act.

AND WHEREAS it is necessary to amend the said Order dated the 19th day of October, 1933.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in the exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 10 of the Road Transport Act, 1933 , and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, and after consultation with the Commissioner of the Gárda Síochána, by this Order appoints as follows:—

(1) The Gárda Síochána station situate in Anne Street, Dundalk, shall be a vehicle plate issuing station for the purposes of Part II of the said Act ;

(2) The Gárda Síochána station situate in West Street, Drogheda, shall be a vehicle plate issuing station and accordingly the words " West Street, Drogheda " shall be substituted for the words " Anne Street, Drogheda " in the list of vehicle plate issuing stationsset out in the Road Transport (Vehicle Plate Issuing Stations) Order, 1933 (a).

This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Road Transport (Vehicle Plate Issuing Stations) (Amendment) Order, 1933.
