THE UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE (BIRTH, MARRIAGE OR DEATH CERTIFICATES REGULATION) ORDER, 1934. | ||
THE UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE (BIRTH, MARRIAGE OR DEATH CERTIFICATES REGULATION) ORDER, 1934, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE UNDER THE UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE ACT, 1933 , ON THE 15th DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1934, PURSUANT TO SECTION 7 of THE UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE ACT, 1933 . | ||
WHEREAS it is provided by section 7 of the Unemployment Assistance Act, 1933 , that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may by Order make regulations prescribing any matter or thing which is referred to in the said Act as prescribed or to be prescribed or any matter or thing which is expressly authorised by the said Act to be prescribed by regulations made by the Minister under the said Act : | ||
AND WHEREAS it is provided by Section 31 of the said Act that where, for the purposes of the said Act, the age, marriage, or death of any person is required to be proved by the production of a certificate of birth, marriage or death, any person shall, on presenting a written requisition in such form and containing such particulars as may be prescribed and, on payment of a fee in the case of a birth certificate of sixpence, and in the case of a marriage or death certificate, of one shilling, be entitled to obtain a certified copy of the entry of the birth, marriage, or death, as the case may be, of that person in the register of births, marriages, or deaths, as the case may be, under the hand of the registrar or superintendent registrar or other person having the custody thereof, and that forms for such requisition shall on request be supplied without any charge by every registrar of births and deaths, and by every superintendent registrar or other person having the custody of the register. | ||
NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Industry and Commerce in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 7 of the Unemployment Assistance Act, 1933 , and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling orders as follows that is to say :— 1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Unemployment Assistance (Birth, Marriage or Death Certificates Regulation) Order, 1934. 2. The following Regulations shall have effect for purposes of the Unemployment Assistance Act, 1933 , that is to say :— | ||
The requisition to be presented to entitle any person to obtain, under Section 31 of the Unemployment Assistance Act, 1933 , a certified copy of the entry of the birth, marriage or death, as the case may be, in a register of births, marriages or deaths as the case may be shall be in the form A, or Form B, or Form C, as the case may be, set forth in the Schedule hereto. | ||
