STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1938. No. 91.

SHANNON FISHERIES ACT, 1938 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1938.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Shannon Fisheries Act, 1938 (No. 7 of 1938), that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may by order appoint a day to be the appointed day for the purposes of Part II of that Act :

NOW, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Shannon Fisheries Act, 1938 (No. 7 of 1938), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Shannon Fisheries Act, 1938 (Appointed Day) Order, 1938.

2. The 1st day of August, 1938, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of Part II of the Shannon Fisheries Act, 1938 (No. 7 of 1938).
