MILK AND DAIRIES (SALE OF HEATED MILK) (RESTRICTION) REGULATIONS, 1938.

The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 32 of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 , with the concurrence of the Minister for Agriculture, hereby makes the following regulations, that is to say:—

1. These regulations may be cited as the Milk and Dairies (Sale of Heated Milk) (Restriction) Regulations, 1938.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 , applies to these regulations.

3. Subject to the provisions of the next following Article no person shall sell, except under a special designation, within the meaning of Part IV of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 , and under and in accordance with a special designation licence granted under the said Part IV, any whole milk which has been heated to a temperature higher than 110 degrees Fahrenheit, or which has been pasteurised.

4. Notwithstanding the provisions of the foregoing Article milk which has been once heated to a temperature higher than 110 degrees Fahrenheit may be sold for consumption as hot milk.
