WOMEN'S CLOTHING AND MILLINERY TRADE. | ||
Regulations, dated the 4th November, 1938, made by the Minister for Industry and Commerce under Section 11 of the Trade Boards Act, 1909, amending the Regulations made on the 31st March, 1926, and 21st December, 1935, with respect to the Constitution and Proceedings of the Trade Board for the Womens' Clothing and Millinery Trade. | ||
The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in pursuance of his powers under Section 11 of the Trade Boards Act, 1909, and of all and every other power him hereunto enabling, hereby makes the following Regulations— | ||
(1) These Regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Regulations made under Section 11 of the Trade Boards Act, 1909, on the 31st March, 1926 (a) (herein-after referred to as the "principal Regulations") and on the 21st December, 1935 (b). | ||
(a) S.R. and O. 1926, No. 27. | ||
(b) S.R. and O. 1935, No. 684. | ||
(2) The following Regulation shall be substituted for Regulation 2 of the principal Regulations :— | ||
2 (a) The Trade Board shall consist of not less than 13 and not more than 21 persons. | ||
(b) The number of representative members shall be not less than 12 and not more than 18. The representative members shall be members representing employers and members representing workers in equal numbers. | ||
(c) The number of appointed members shall be at least one and not more than three. | ||
(3) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 4th day of November, 1938. | ||
(4) These Regulations may be cited as the Women's Clothing and Millinery Trade Board (Amendment) Regulations, 1938. | ||
