Definition and construction. |
1.—(1) In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the Shops (Conditions of Employment) Act, 1938 (No. 4 of 1938). | |
(2) This Act shall be construed as one with the Principal Act and accordingly every expression and word to which a particular meaning is given by the Principal Act for the purposes of that Act shall have in and for the purposes of this Act the meaning so given. |
