TRANSPORT ACT, 1944 (ALTERATION OF MAXIMUM RAILWAY CHARGES OF THE COUNTY DONEGAL RAILWAYS JOINT COMMITTEE AND THE STRABANE AND LETTERKENNY RAILWAY COMPANY) ORDER, 1947.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by
section 89
of the
Transport Act, 1944
(No. 21 of 1944), hereby order as follows :—
1. This Order may be cited as the
Transport Act, 1944
(Alteration of Maximum Railway Charges of the County Donegal Railways Joint Committee and the Strabane and Letterkenny Railway Company) Order, 1947.
2. The maximum charges applicable to each of the following railway companies—

the County Donegal Railways Joint Committee,
|
| |
the Strabane and Letterkenny Railway Company,
|
| |
for traffic by rail are hereby altered in accordance with the Schedule to this Order and the altered charges shall come into operation on the date of this Order.
|

SCHEDULE.
|
| |
PART I.
|
| |
Maximum railway charges applicable to the County Donegal Railways Joint Committee and the Strabane and Letterkenny Railway Company as modified and set out in the undermentioned pages of the Order of the Court of the Railway Tribunal dated the 24th June, 1940, under the provisios of
Section 31
of the
Railways Act, 1924
, to be altered as follows :—

Pages 1 to 7 both inclusive.
|
Charges to be increased by twelve percent. subject to the following condition :—In determining the amount to be added to the existing maximum charges fractions of one penny if less than one-half to be dropped and if one-half or more to be charged as one penny.
