HEALTH (DUTIES OF OFFICERS) (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) ORDER, 1948.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 20 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , hereby declares and orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Health (Duties of Officers) (Temporary Provisions) Order, 1948.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1948.

3. The duties of holders of any of the offices under a health authority specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Order shall be

(a) to perform such duties relating to the Health Act, 1947 , as may from time to time be assigned to him by the health authority under Section 10 of the Local Government Act, 1941 and

(b) to perform such duties as were, on the 31st day of March, 1948, imposed by or under any Act, on holders of the office specified in the second column of the said Schedule opposite the title of such office in the first column of the said Schedule.
