VOCATIONAL EDUCATION (EXPENSES OF ATTENDING CONFERENCES) REGULATIONS, 1931 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1948. | ||
I, RISTEARD UA MAOLCHATHA, Minister for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 54 of the Vocational Education Act, 1930 (No. 29 of 1930), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby make the following regulations:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Vocational Education (Expenses of Attending Conferences) Regulations, 1931 (Amendment) Regulations, 1948. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations. 3. Article 4 of the Vocational Education (Expenses of Attending Conferences) Regulations, 1931 ( S. R. & O. No. 37 of 1931 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for subparagraph (ii) of paragraph (a) of the following :— | ||
"(ii) subsistence allowance, when the member is required to be absent from home for the purpose of attending such meeting or conference (at a place not less than three miles by any route from his home) for a period of not less than three hours ; " | ||
