Acting Lay Commissioner. |
18.—Where the Government is satisfied that a Lay Commissioner is temporarily unable on account of illness, absence on vacation or other sufficient reason to discharge his duties as a Lay Commissioner, the Government may, notwithstanding section 17 of this Act, appoint a person to act as a Lay Commissioner during such temporary inability. |
