TEA ORDER, 1949 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1950 | ||
I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O. No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946) ), hereby order as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Tea Order, 1949 (Amendment) Order, 1950. 2. In this Order the expression " the Principal Order " means the Tea Order, 1949 ( S.I. No. 223 of 1949 ). 3. Article 2 of the Principal Order is hereby amended by the substitution in the definition of " ration period " and in paragraph (4) of the words " forty-three weeks " for the words " twenty-six weeks". 4. Article 14 of the Principal Order is hereby amended by the substitution for paragraph (a) of the following— | ||
" (a) purchase tea for sale by wholesale, or". 5. Article 15 of the Principal Order is hereby amended by the deletion of the words from " to whom the wholesaler " to the end of the Article. 6. Paragraph (1) of Article 19 of the Principal Order is hereby amended by the deletion of the words " at which there is carried on the business of a tea retailer". | ||
