27.—A housing authority (other than the council of a county) and the commissioners of a town shall, as soon as may be after the passing of this Act, exercise the powers conferred on them, with respect to the making and enforcing of bye-laws, by section 20 of the Housing (Ireland) Act, 1919 , and section 15 of the Act of 1948, as amended by this Act. |
