Veterinary Surgeons Act, 1952

Interpretation. |
1.—(1) In this Act— | |
“the Act of 1931” means the Veterinary Surgeons Act, 1931 (No. 36 of 1931); | ||
“the Council” means the Veterinary Council; | ||
“the Minister” means the Minister for Agriculture; | ||
“prescribed” means prescribed by regulations made by the Council; | ||
“the register” means the register of veterinary surgeons maintained by the Council, and the word “registered” shall be construed accordingly; | ||
“veterinary surgery” includes veterinary medicine. | ||
(2) The register shall be known as the Register of Veterinary Surgeons for Ireland. |
