AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (EGGS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1952.

I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Act, 1939 (No. 2 of 1939), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do by this Order make the following regulations :—

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) (Amendment) Regulations, 1952.

(2) The Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Regulations, 1939 to 1951, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Regulations, 1939 to 1952.

2. Paragraph (1) of Article 16 of the Agricultural Produce (Eggs) Regulations, 1939 (S. R & O , No 169 of 1939), as amended, is hereby further amended in the following respects :

(a) by the deletion in subparagraph (c) of the word " and " between the words " Selected " and " Pullets," and by the insertion of the words " and Specials " after the word " Pullets " ;

(b) by the addition after subparagraph (ii) of subparagraph (c) of the following :—

" (iii) in the case of Specials eggs with a mark (in these Regulations referred to as the Specials grade mark) consisting of a circle not less than seven sixteenths of an inch in diameter enclosing the letter A not less than four millimetres in height, in the manner indicated by the following pattern, thus :—

3. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 21st day of April, 1952
