EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 282) ORDER, 1943 (CARDBOARD BOXES AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1952.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (Cardboard Boxes Amendment) Order, 1952.

2.—(1) The First Schedule to the Emergency Powers (No. 282) Order, 1943 (S.R. & O., No. 247 of 1943), is hereby amended by the deletion of all matter contained in columns (2), (3) and (4) at reference number 20 (which relates to the suspension of customs duty on certain boxes of cardboard and other materials and component parts of such boxes).

(2) Paragraph (1) of this Article shall come into operation on the 27th day of May, 1952.
