HARBOURS ACT, 1946 (CORK HARBOUR COMMISSIONERS) ORDER, 1952.

I, SÉAN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 146 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act, 1946 (Cork Harbour Commissioners) Order, 1952.

2. Part I of the First Schedule to the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), is hereby amended by the deletion of all matter contained in the third column opposite the mention of Cork Harbour Commissioners, and the substitution therefor of the words " The Cork Chamber of Commerce."

3. Section 7 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), shall have effect as if, in subparagraph (b) of subsection (1) of that section, the words from " or, in the case of the Cork Harbour Commissioners " to the end of the subparagraph were deleted.

4. The chamber of commerce members of the Cork Harbour Commissioners appointed by the Cork Chamber of Commerce and the Cork Incorporated Chamber of Commerce and Shipping shall for the purposes of subparagraph (b) of subsection (1) and subsection (4) of section 15 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), be deemed to have been appointed by the chamber of commerce reference to which is inserted by this Order in Part I of the First Schedule to the said Act.
