IMPORT QUOTA No. 32 (MARBLE CHIPPINGS) SUSPENSION ORDER, 1952.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Emergency Powers (No. 118) Order, 1941 (S.R. & O., No. 456 of 1941), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Import Quota No. 32 (Marble Chippings) Suspension Order, 1952.

2. The operation of section 5 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), (which renders it unlawful to import, save under licence, goods the importation of which is prohibited by a quota order) is hereby suspended during the period beginning on the 1st day of July, 1952, and ending on the 30th day of June, 1953, in respect of articles the importation of which is prohibited by the order set out in the first column of the Schedule hereto.
