AGRICULTURAL WAGES (MINIMUM RATES) (FEMALE WORKERS) ORDER, 1952 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1952.

The Agricultural Wages Board, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 17 of the Agricultural Wages Act, 1936 (No. 53 of 1936), and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) (Female Workers) Order, 1952 (Amendment) Order, 1952.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 28th day of July, 1952.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. In this Order the expression " the Principal Order " means the Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) (Female Workers) Order, 1952 ( S. I. No. 1 of 1952 ).

4. The Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following rates of wages and classes of agricultural workers :—

Classes of Agricultural Workers.

Rate per week in which 48 hours work is done (exclusive of work on Sunday)

Rate per hour for work done in any week in which less than 48 hours work is done (exclusive of work on Sunday)

Overtime Rate per hour payable for any time worked in any week in excess of 48 hours (exclusive of work on Sunday)

Rate per hour for work done on Sunday
