SOCIAL WELFARE (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1952.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 72 of the Social Welfare Act, 1952 (No. 11 of 1952), with the sanction of the Minister for Finance, hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare (Appointed Day) Order, 1952.

2. The 5th day of January, 1953, shall be the appointed day for the purposes of the Social Welfare Act, 1952 .

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Social Welfare this 22nd day of December, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty-two.
