FISHERIES (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1954.

The Government, at the request of the Minister for Agriculture and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 9 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1954.

(2) The Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Orders, 1951 to 1953 ( S.I. No. 292 of 1951 , S.I. No. 179 of 1952 and S.I. No. 281 of 1953 ), and this Order may be cited together as the Fisheries (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Orders, 1951 to 1954.

2. The statutory powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby delegated to Gearóid Mac Pharthaláin, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Agriculture.

SCHEDULE

The powers and duties in relation to fisheries of the Minister for Agriculture under the following Act :—

The Salmon Conservancy Fund Act, 1954 (No. 4 of 1954).
