AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (FRESH MEAT) (BEEF, PORK AND MUTTON) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1954.

I, JAMES M. DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 27 of the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) Act, 1930 (No. 10 of 1930), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby make the following Regulations :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) (Beef, Pork and Mutton) (Amendment) Regulations, 1954.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. Paragraph (1) of Regulation 17 of the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) (Beef, Pork and Mutton) Regulations, 1930 ( S. R. & O. No. 62 of 1930 ), as amended by the Agricultural Produce (Fresh Meat) (Beef, Pork and Mutton) (Amendment) Regulations, 1939 ( S. R. & O. No. 83 of 1939 ), is hereby further amended by the deletion of the words " be as follows " and of sub-paragraphs (i) and (ii) and the substitution for those words and sub-paragraphs of the words 66 consist of the distinctive mark assigned by the Minister under subsection (3) of the said Section 27 to such registered slaughtering premises."
