THERAPEUTIC SUBSTANCES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1954.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Therapeutic Substances Act, 1932 (No. 25 of 1932), after consultation with the Therapeutic Substances Advisory Committee, hereby orders as follows :

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Therapeutic Substances (Amendment) Regulations, 1954.

(2) These Regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Therapeutic Substances Regulations, 1934 to 1953, and may be cited collectively therewith as the Therapeutic Substances Regulations, 1934 to 1954.

2. Paragraph (e) of sub-article (1) of article 8 of the Therapeutic Substances (Saorstát Eireann) Regulations, 1934 (S.R. and O. 1934 No. 365) shall be deleted and the following shall be substituted therefor :—

" (e) if the substance is intended to be used solely for veterinary purposes, a statement to that effect ".
