DEFENCE ACT, 1954 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1954.

I, SEAN MacEOIN, Minister for Defence, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 1 of the Defence Act, 1954 (No. 18 of 1954) hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Defence Act, 1954 (Commencement) Order, 1954.

2. The Defence Act, 1954 , shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1955.
