WILD BIRDS (COUNTY DUBLIN) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1954.

WHEREAS the County Manager of the County of Dublin has applied to the Minister for Justice to exclude from the protection afforded by the Wild Birds (County Dublin) Order, 1954, the eggs of certain wild birds on the ground that such birds are destructive of agriculture, game and fish :

NOW, the Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 7 of the Wild Birds Protection Act, 1930 (No. 16 of 1930), hereby orders as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Wild Birds (County Dublin) (No. 2) Order, 1954.

2. No person shall take or destroy in the County of Dublin (including the islands of Lambay and Ireland's Eye) the eggs of any wild bird other than the raven, the carrion crow, the hoodie crow, the rook, the jackdaw, the magpie, the jay, the chough, the wood pigeon, the sparrow-hawk and the cormorant.

3. The Wild Birds (County Dublin) Order, 1954 ( S.I. No. 126 of 1954 ), is hereby revoked.
