EMERGENCY POWERS (No. 39) ORDER, 1940 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1956.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 4 of the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946), hereby order as follows :

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (No. 39) Order, 1940 (Revocation) Order, 1956.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1956.

2. The Emergency Powers (No. 39) Order, 1940 (S. R. & O. No. 221 of 1940), is hereby revoked.
