HARBOUR RATES (CORK HARBOUR) (RATES ON NEW MOTOR CARS AND MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER, 1958.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce,in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and after due compliance with section 106 of that Act, hereby order as follows :

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Cork Harbour) (Rates on New Motor Cars and Motor Vehicles) Order, 1958.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 27th day of January, 1958.

2.—(1) The rates set out in the Schedule to this Order shall be included in the Schedule to the Cork Harbour Act, 1933 (No. 1 (Private) of 1933).

(2) Article 5 of the Harbour Rates (Cork Port and Harbour) Order, 1940 ( S. R. & O. No. 390 of 1940 ), which, as amended by the Harbour Rates (Cork Port and Harbour) Order, 1940 (Amendment) Order, 1957 ( S.I. No. 168 of 1957 ), increases the rates set out in the schedule to the said Act by one hundred and forty-seven and one-half per cent., shall have effect as if this Order were included amongst the Orders mentioned in the said Article 5.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes revised maximum rates which may be charged by the Cork Harbour Commissioners as from the 27th January, 1958,on New Motor Cars and Motor Vehicles assembled in the State for export only.
