LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (COUNTY OF SLIGO AND PART OF COUNTY OF DONEGAL) ORDER, 1961.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (2) of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (Section 34) (County of Sligo and Part of County of Donegal) Order, 1961.

2. On the seventh day after the date of this Order Section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 shall come into operation in the County Health District of Sligo and in that part of the sanitary district of the County Health District of Donegal consisting of (a) the townland of Narin in the district electoral division of Dawros and (b) the townland of Clooney in the district electoral division of Maas.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 into operation in the County Health District of Sligo and in the townlands of Narin and Clooney in the County Health District of Donegal.

Section 34 authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land, or with the consent of the occupier to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use during a specified period of twelve consecutive months of land for camping.
