COUNTY KILDARE (REGISTRARS' DISTRICTS) (NUMBER 2) ORDER, 1962.

I, PÁDRAIG Ó CINNÉIDE, an tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act 1863, and section 8 of the Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as The County Kildare (Registrars' Districts) (Number 2) Order, 1962.

2. The Registrars' Districts of Athy, Fontstown and Moone shall cease to exist on the date of the coming into operation of this Order.

3. The Athy Dispensary District as constituted by the County Kildare (Dispensary Districts) Order, 1962 ( S.I. No. 145 of 1962 ) shall be subdivided into two Registrars' Districts which shall be known as Athy East Registrar's District and Athy West Registrar's District. Athy East Registrar's District shall consist of the area shown on Part I of the Schedule hereto and Athy West Registrar's District shall consist of the area shown on Part II of the Schedule hereto.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the Eighth day of October, 1962.

SCHEDULE

PART I

Description of Area to be known as Athy East Registrar's District

(a) The District Electoral Division of Athy East Urban.

(b) Part of the District Electoral Division of Athy Rural comprising the townlands of Ardree, Barkersford, Bray Lower, Bray Upper, Forest, Foxhill, Gallowshill, Geraldine, Russellstown, Shamrocklodge, Shanrath East, Shanrath West, Shanrath and Tullygorey and those parts of the townlands of Chanterlands, Coneyburrow, Graysland and Townparks in the said District Electoral Division.

(c) The District Electoral Division of Grangemellon comprising the townlands of Ballycullane, Ballyroe, Dollardstown, Grangemellon, Heath, Leinster Lodge, Levitstown, Nicholastown, Rosetown, Snugburrow and Turnerstown.

(d) The District Electoral Division of Burtown comprising the townlands of Aghanure, Ardscull, Ballindrum, Burtown Big, Burtown Little, Inch, Irishtown and Glassely.

(e) The townland of Lynamsgarden in the District Electoral Division of Fontstown.

(f) Part of the District Electoral Division of Kilkea comprising the townlands of Grangerosnolvan, Grangerosnolvan Lower, and Grangerosnolvan Upper.

(g) The District Electoral Division of Ballitore comprising the townlands of Ballitore, Crookstown Upper, Crookstown East, Moyleabbey, Portersize, Spratstown and Timolin.

(h) The District Electoral Division of Inchaquire comprising the townlands of Annalough, Ballintaggart, Blackrath, Colbinstown, Inchaquire, Lipstown and Rahoonbeak.

(i) The District Electoral Division of Moone comprising the townlands of Moone and Mullamast.

(j) The District Electoral Division of Narraghmore comprising the townlands of Ballyadams, Ballybarney, Battlemount, Boleybeg, Crookstown Lower, Killeen, Lipstown Lower, Lipstown Upper, Narraghmore and Narraghmore Demesne.

PART II

Description of Area to be known as Athy West Registrars' District

(k) The District Electoral Division of Athy West Urban.

(l) Part of the District Electoral Division of Athy Rural comprising the townlands of Ballybought, Ballynasculloge, Barrowford, Belview, Bennetsbridge, Cardington, Cardington Demesne, Coolroe, Courttown East, Courttown West, Goulyduff, Kilcoo, Milltown, Prusselstown, Quarry, Rosbran, Roundhills, Salisbury, Sawyerswood, Srowland, Tonlegee, Willsgrove and Woodstock North and those parts of the townlands of Ardrew, Blackparks, Paudeenourstown, Tomard and Woodstock South in the said District Electoral Division.

(m) The District Electoral Division of Bert comprising the townlands of Ardmore, Bert Demesne, Clogorrow, Newtownbert, Oldcourt, Shanraheen and Tyrrellstown.

(n) The District Electoral Division of Churchtown comprising the townlands of Ballyroe, Blackford, Brackney, Brownstown, Castlemitchell North, Castlemitchell South, Castlereban North, Castlereban South, Churchtown North, Churchtown South, Crohanree, Kilcrow, Moatstown, Raheenadeeragh and Sheean.

(o) The District Electoral Division of Kilberry comprising the townlands of Cloney, Kilberry, Lowtown and Sheean.

(p) Part of the District Electoral Division of Fontstown comprising the townlands of Ardellis Lower, Ardellis Upper, Ballynagussaun, Boleybeg, Boley Great, Boley Little, Castlefarm, Derrynine, Fontstown Lower, Fontstown Upper, Monatore, Oldgrange, Rathconnell, Rathconnell Wood, Rathsillagh Lower and Rathsillagh Upper.

(q) Part of the District Electoral Division of Kilrush comprising the townlands of Borough, Bushypark, Castlefarm, Chapelfarm, Coolyphullagh, Elone, Fearaun, Greatrath, Hillfarm, Kilboggan, Kilrush, Millfarm, Rock and Tawnrush.

(r) The District Electoral Division of Skerries comprising the townlands of Blackwood, Smallford, Ardnagross, Ballynabarna, Kilmead, Loughabor, Rathgrumly, Skerries North, Skerries South, Tinnakill and Youngstown,

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to vary the division of County Kildare into Registrars' Districts by the abolition of the Registrars' Districts of Fontstown, Moone and Athy, as at present constituted, and the subdivision into two Registrars' Districts, to be known as Athy East Registrar's District and Athy West Registrar's District, of the Athy Dispensary District as constituted by the County Kildare (Dispensary Districts) Order, 1962 ( S.I. No. 145 of 1962 ).
