DISTRICT COURT AREAS (VARIATION OF DAYS AND HOURS) ORDER, 1962.

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by paragraph (f) of subsection (1) of section 26 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953 (No. 32 of 1953), and after consultation with the President of the District Court, hereby order as follows:—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) Order, 1962.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of October, 1962.

2. In this Order " the Principal Order " means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1961 ).

3. The days and hours for holding the District Court (for the purposes of the transaction of the business of the District Court exercising its summary jurisdiction) in a district court area mentioned in column (3) of the Schedule hereto are hereby varied by the substitution for the days and hours mentioned in column (4) of the First Schedule to the Principal Order opposite the mention in column (3) of that Schedule of that district court area of the days and hours mentioned in column (4) of the Schedule hereto opposite the mention in column (3) of that Schedule of that district court area.

4. The hours for holding the District Court (for the purposes of the transaction of the business of the District Court exercising its civil jurisdiction) in the district court area of Kilmainham shall, in lieu of the hour specified in column (4) at reference number 67 in the Second Schedule to the Principal Order, be 10.30 a.m.

5.—(1) Business transacted in the District Court Area of Dundrum which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if paragraph 3 of this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

(2) Business transacted in the District Court Area of Kilmainham which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if paragraphs 3 and 4 of this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

(3) Business transacted in the District Court Area of Rathfarnham which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if paragraph 3 of this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.
