S.I. No. 168/1962 - An Bord Gráin (Assignment of Additional Function) (No. 2) Order, 1962.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 24 of 1958), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the An Bord Gráin (Assignment of Additional Function) (No. 2) Order, 1962.

2. In this Order :

"wheat" means home grown millable wheat;

"wheat levy" means the levy deducted by purchasers under section 2 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 24 of 1958), from the price of wheat purchased from growers.

3. There is hereby assigned to An Bord Gráin the function of repaying to each grower of wheat harvested in the year, 1962, and purchased from the grower the amount of wheat levy deducted by the purchaser from the price of the wheat.

4. The amount of any repayments made pursuant to Article 3 of this Order and of any expenses incurred by or on behalf of An Bord Gráin in relation to such repayments shall be paid out of the Grain Fund.
