IMPOSITION OF DUTIES (ISINGLASS AND EDIBLE GELATINE) ORDER, 1962.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Imposition of Duties Act, 1957 (No. 7 of 1957), and with the consent of the Minister for Industry and Commerce, hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Imposition of Duties (Isinglass and Edible Gelatine) Order, 1962.

2. The duty of customs imposed by the Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 283) (Glue, Gelatine and Size) Order, 1952 ( S.I. No. 186 of 1952 ), shall not be charged or levied on—

(a) isinglass in solid form, or

(b) edible gelatine in solid form,

which is imported on or after the 1st day of November, 1962.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides for the continuance of the suspension of the Customs duty on isinglass and edible gelatine.
