CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (EXTENSION OF LAWS) REGULATIONS, 1962. | ||
I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Justice, hereby make the following regulations : 1. These regulations may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations, 1962. 2. Section 17 of the Firearms Act, 1925 (No. 17 of 1925), shall extend to the Customs-free airport. | ||

EXPLANATORY NOTE | ||
This Order extends to the Customs-free Airport the provisions of Section 17 of the Firearms Act, 1925 (Number 17 of 1925) regarding restrictions on the import of firearms, prohibited weapons and ammunition. |
