AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS (RESTRICTION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1964.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), hereby order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Products (Restriction of Export) Order, 1964.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1964.

2. Part 1 of the Schedule to the Agricultural Products (Restriction of Export) Order, 1953 ( S.I. No. 234 of 1953 ), is hereby amended by the deletion of paragraphs 6, 7 and 8.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to revoke the prohibition on the export of milk, cream and cheese imposed under the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 . A corresponding prohibition is now imposed by an Order under the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 .
