WHOLESALE TAX (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1966.

I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 (3) of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1966 (No. 22 of 1966), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Wholesale Tax (Appointed Day) Order, 1966.

2. The 25th day of August, 1966, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of section 4 of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1966 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Section 4 of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1966 , provides for the registration of persons accountable for Wholesale Tax on or after a day to be appointed by Order of the Minister for Finance. This Order appoints the 25th August, 1966, as the appointed day.
