GALWAY COUNTY COUNCIL (MEDICAL OFFICERS) ORDER, 1956, REVOCATION ORDER, 1968.

The Minister for Health, being the appropriate Minister for the purposes of Part II of the Local Government Act, 1941 , in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 11 and 13 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , hereby revokes the Galway County Council (Medical Officers) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 80 of 1956 ).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The Galway County Council (Medical Officers) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 80 of 1956 ) provided that Galway County Council appoint in a wholetime capacity, one physician, one surgeon and one obstetrician-gynaecologist. This order is now revoked so as to enable additional medical officers of these classes to be appointed.
